Update
The migrations of cloud servers has been progressing without any incidents, with approximately 75% of all cloud servers migrated thus far. We expect the migration to continue successfully, as planned and according to schedule. We will shortly begin a significant infrastructural update, which includes launching a new datacenter in London, UK, starting tomorrow evening: 2017-08-03 at 21:00 UTC.
This new datacenter is much better equipped to facilitate our accelerated growth, and our increasingly high demands for performance and reliability. It will completely replace our current London DC and inherit its designation as UK-LON1. We will therefore migrate all cloud servers in our current London DC to this new location.
To make this migration seamless for our users, we have developed technology that allows migrations over long distances without affecting a cloud server's operational status. We only anticipate a brief (5-60 sec) network interruption during the actual migration but as an extra precaution, we will only schedule migrations during non-business hours.
As the schedule is rolling, we cannot estimate when a specific cloud server will be migrated or when the migration is entirely completed. We will update this status page whenever we have any news to share.
